Core Belief

This is an aritcle from a previous newsletter

I am fortunate to work for a great company.  It is a company that invests a lot of effort into the employees.  Part of this investment is a continued interest and development of the employee strengths.  They do not chart or focus on weaknesses.  A recent company wide task was to take the Strengths Finder survey by Gallup. It took 35 minutes, and you only have 20 seconds per question so you really have to answer what comes to you quickly.  I would expect my #1 strength result to be Developer, Maximizer etc. My results?

Strength #1 "Belief:  People who are especially talented in the Belief strength have certain core values that are unchanging.  Out of these values emerges a defined purpose for the life."

In a work related setting or not, it should be the heart that shines thru even in questions related to your strengths.

The same can be said for Chapter Strengths

There are four areas (strengths) of a successful chapter.

Prayer

Fellowship

Evangelism

Discipleship

It is important that you find which one of these areas is your main strength and build on it.  A balanced chapter needs members that fit into all of these areas of ministry.

Be the one that sees the strengths in someone and helps develops that strength.  Do NOT look for a weakness.
